▲Superficial. Tanuj is extremely superficial. This is probably born out of the fact that Tanuj considers most other people to be below the level of his Parents, and thus judges people based on their looks. It doesn't help that he's extremely flirtatious, too.
▲Restless.. Tanuj gets bored very easily, and is prone to harm someone just to keep his attention, or just move on completely. If you don't keep him entertained, you'll end up dead or ignored; simple as that.

They're big and sharp and they hurt if they're in your flesh. :I His claws are blunter than his teeth, but they can still hurt if he tries hard enough. Please note that, as part hyena, his teeth can and will crush your bones. Thank you.
-Physical: Running: Tanuj's hyena DNA has helped him to become a skilled runner. He's got a relatively short torso (which you can't see in the app 'cause his hoodie's pretty long) and extremely long legs. His stamina's higher than most humans, so he can also pursue a chase much longer.
-Physiomental: Mind control: Tanuj can produce a high, chattering laugh which causes biological reactions in others. Upon hearing it, your body will automatically react in fear, regardless of whether or not you're actually scared of Tanuj. This allows him to control others to a certain extent. He can further amp this power up by associating his laugh with torture. By laughing during the torture of someone, he couples the natural physiomental fear of his laugh with the added fear of pain, which can cripple a person significantly in a situation.

Since Mahima was close to him in age, and was also a hyena mutant, he started calling her his twin sister early on, and they even started believing it; was it really so out of the realm of possibility for them to be related? For 3 years or so, they were best friends; Tanuj constantly worried about Mahima's outspoken nature, while Mahima attempted to drag Tanuj out of his shell.
When Tanuj and Mahima were both five years old, they were 'salvaged' from the center by Daman and Lakshmi Lawoti, two whitecoats who were looking to adopt mutant children into their own family. Daman and Lakshmi had been fascinated by the concept of mutants for the entire time they'd been working as whitecoats, but even before they entered that job, Lakshmi had been enraptured with the idea of twins. She'd originally sought to work in a center in Kodinhi, an area in India that had one of the highest twinning rates in the world, but was denied and instead worked in Nepal. When they discovered Tanuj and Mahima, the two did not openly acknowledge that they weren't biological twins, and so Daman and Lakshmi went on believing that they were. They observed the two for about three months before deciding that they were what they wanted, and one day they smuggled them out of the center and fled to northern Nepal to raise them.
It didn't take long for either child to realize, however, that Daman and Lakshmi weren't the usual desperate-for-children kidnappers (if there even is a standard). At first, Tanuj revelled in the attention he got; starved for parental affection, the love of parents delighted him. Being fed every day, talked to with respect and care, being cared for, being held by a mother...all of these were things that Tanuj treasured. So Mahima and Tanuj were pleased with their new home for a while. But later on, they began to realize that some things about the house were kind of strange. If Tanuj didn't perform well enough (for they continued his training) or disobeyed, he was punished by being locked in a room and forced to look at the kind things that his Parents had done for him until he begged to be let out. Mahima was subject to the same punishment. During the day, Mahima and Tanuj were often kept apart. Mahima was trained in domestic tasks to help 'subdue her fire' while Tanuj was trained physically to become stronger and more aggressive.
His Parents often planted subliminal messages in both of their minds. Three languages were spoken in the home: Nepali, Hindi, and English; subliminal messages were in all three languages to ensure that they would be heard. (This is because some people think more rationally or differently in a language that isn't their native; thus, if all the subliminal messages were in Nepali, he may fight them when using English or Hindi.) Mahima, the more outgoing and hot-headed of the two, was separated from Tanuj and trained to be more subdued and domestic. Tanuj, the shy one, was molded in Daman's image of a strong male. Despite Tanuj acting a lot like the male of the spotted hyena species, Daman wanted him to act more dominant, and so he encouraged him to be increasingly aggressive. This led to Tanuj actually being extremely arrogant and prone to attacking people out of boredom. In addition, any friends that Tanuj attempted to make in their town led to their deaths or disappearances, leaving him completely dependent on his Parents.
By the age of twelve, Tanuj was completely reformed and under the control of his Parents. Once he was fifteen, his Father began sending him out to do various odd jobs. Some were Eraser-like in nature, others had more to do with his Father's business than anything else. Tanuj feels disconnected to everyone but his Parents and Mahima, so it's not unusual for him to kill or harm somebody for fun. He also enjoys flirting with people and later killing or harming them after gaining their trust or interest.
Interesting Facts: Part of Tanuj longs to be free of his Parents. However, the messages and training are strong enough to overcome this part of him. Since nobody knows of his Parents' control over him, there's no one to drag that part of Tanuj out. Anyone who Tanuj has become emotionally attached to ends up severed from his life by his Parents.
